Epoxy Iron Red Primer Paint

Specifications

Introduction: 

This paint is made of thermolsetting acrylic resin, aliphatic curing agent, pigment, additive and solvent. It enjoys excellent outdoor durability, mechanical property and is good for decoration. It is applied to the outdoor steel structure, large mechanical.

Charicteristic:

Two component, two tans. It can either air dry or dry heated in high temperature and high humidity. The film enjoys good adhesion, hardness, outdoor durability and gloss retention. The film is colourful.

Construction reference:

Meterial treatment: Remove the grease and the rust on the surface of the steel by phosphating or sandblasting. Be sure that the surface is dry and no other chemical admixture.

Painting: iron red primer+topcoat 1 layer each or 2 layers of topcoat. Make the surface smooth.

Iron red primer+intermediate coat paint+topcoat, It is applied to the coarse surface with hig request.

Epoxy zinc rich primer+topcoat 2 layers each. It is applied to the anticorrsion surface or the decoration.

Mixed the paint: Open the paint barrel and stirred. Put in the curing agent according to the proportion. Then add the diluent to dilute the paint for spraying.

Paint: Paint in normal way of painting. The thickness of the film: primer30 40um, topcoat40 80um, the interval of the painting is 2 5hours. After 5 7days of spraying the primer the palletizing can be in progress.

Attention:

1. The amount of the mixed paint should be certain. It is must be used up within 8 hours or the paint will become the blue and be scrapped.

2. The paint and curing agent should be mixed according to the proportion or it will affect the quality of the film.

3. Water should be avoided during the pain. The metal should be dry. Filter the water when compressing the air. Release the water from the air compressor. It is not good for the film to cure when it is raining, fogging and wet.

4. In normal temperature the drying time of surface is 0.5 hour. The hard drying time is 24 hours. The completely cured time is 7 days. When it is stored, keep the paint away from fire and heat. Leave the paint in the cool and ventilating place. The storage period is 1 year.
